This map shows male moth counts in pheromone-baited traps
deployed in 1994 in Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina.
- VA/WV-STS is the Slow-the-Spread action (=barrier) zone in VA and WV
- NC-STS is the Slow-the-Spread action zone in NC.
Male moth counts interpolated using median kriging. Population
population boundaries
are estimated using the "best cell classification" method. The boundary of
10 moths/trap is shown by a thick line because it is the most reliable
indicator of population spread.
