Tools for Gypsy Moth Managers

Gypsy Moth Population Maps -These maps that show the distribution and abundance of gypsy moth populations in selected parts of Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina. They were produced by Virginia Tech entomologists as a part of the Gypsy Moth Slow the Spread project.
Gypsy Moth Defoliation Maps - Also produced by Virginia Tech, these maps show areas of defoliation in Virginia and West Virginia.
The Swath Kit - A computerized tool to visualize the deposit pattern of insecticide across an aircraft's flight path and to quantify different parameters in a swath. The Swath Kit, originally developed by entomologists at Pennsylvania State University, is now a part of Droplet Technologies.
